I am so happy with this washer/dryer combo Its quiet and does an amazing job cleaning my clothes. The huge capacity helps get my laundry done in record time. The capacity is big enough to put my comforter in and it comes out clean no caked on detergent. I bought this washer to replace the a top load washer by another brand. Im glad I made the purchase. My other washer still worked but I felt they could be cleaner and now they are. My clothes come out clean now. The WIFI is awesome I can now connect the washer to my phone and control it or find out how much time is left. Plus it also tells me when its through. I bought these a few weeks ago and I am so happy I did because they work espectacular. The only thing though that I dont like is that it doesnt have a space to put the fabric softener manually like it does for the detergent so what I did is that I increased the amount of fabric softener that way it dispenses more fabric softener which is what I wanted. I love this washer only complaint is that the seal where everyone always has issues with mold is a bit tricky to keep dry its really sticky so hard to dry with a towel after use otherwise has some really great features. Originally posted on lg.com

Lovelovelove my washer I use the thinQ app with my washer never have a forgotten load in the washer. Being able to preload detergent softener for multiple loads is great. All of these things means less time doing laundry. The machine does most of the work for you I forget to pretreat stai s often which is not a problem because the machine removes alot of stains with out pretreater. In replacing my 15 year old LG front loader I chose this particular model due to both its size that it has the automatic soap dispenser which is a heavenly feature. This machine is so quiet I actually have to look at it to see if its running even when on max spin its extremely quiet. I love it and only wish Id bought it sooner. The only disappointment I have is that LG no longer offers machines in colors I had the navy blue units previously and loved how they looked and was really hoping to get these in the red but they only come in this dark grey. Wow. Washing machines have come a long way since the days of the old top loaders. This machine is nearly silent has way more wash cycles than Ill ever use and does an awesome job of cleaning clothes. I really enjoy not having to add detergent and fabric softener every load too. The dispenser works great The reservoir gets filled every 12 to 14 days on average and I dont have to worry about using too much detergent which can damage the machine. Love the smart functionality. I admit I was skeptical at first. Why on earth would I need my washing machine to be connected to the internet? Well linking the matching dryer to the washer in the LG thinQ app means I dont have to think about which dryer cycle to choose as it decides for me based on what cycle the washer used It also sends me a notification on my phone when the cycle is done. My only complaint is that you cannot turn on the machine through the app. You need to be in front of it and push the button in order to turn it on which in my opinion is a huge oversight in design. But I still gave the machine 5 stars based on the quality of the product number of features and overall cleanliness of clothes. As for durability time will tell. But I will say I hope they last a very long time because we have truly stepped into the future of laundry with these units. Originally posted on lg.com

Bought these LG w/d because of the dependability of the brand. Always works without any issue. My only complaint with this washer is that the bright whites setting doesnt make my white clothes as white and clean as my old Bosch 800 washer did. We bought the 4500 series washer and 7 cubic foot dryer. These units are phenomenal. So quiet is hard to believe theyre running. So many options but were satisfied with the default settings and the clothes and bedding look feel and smell better than ever. We also bought the pedestals so very little bending over. Does a great job on washing clothes quickly and wonderfully quietly. WiFi setup was easy but WiFi functionality is very limited. Specifically the washer cannot announce it has finished via Alexa or Google or similar. I rather expected that to be the baseline reason for including WiFi. Originally posted on lg.com

While this has a huge number of mostly useless downloadable program options there is no way to customize one for ones own needs. Nor is there a way to change all the settings for any program. Thus it takes a lot more work to set up the right settings for me. A machine this expensive should have at least 1 user-programmable option as older LG machines did or at least default to last used as I do almost all my laundry the same way. Purchased in April 2021 due to Whirlpool Cabrio washer only 7 years old died. LG recommended by repairman as having fewer repair needs although could not vouch for longevity as he stated most appliances only last 3-6 years at best these days. I cant say enough good things about this washer. We have had it for about 4 to 5 months now and it perfect. Just the ability to preload the soap and softener ahead of many loads makes it worth it. What a great washing machine with a great matching dryer. The machine is so quiet while it is working that we sometimes forget it is on and dont realize until the happy little jingle plays or the ThinQ app notifies us that it is done. The connectivity is great both in that it can talk to the dryer to give settings but also through the ThinQ app and google home The tank to hold 18 loads worth of detergent and softener is a great feature that makes everything so easy.
