So many people had such negative things to say when I purchased this machine. Guess what? Its amazing Large enough to do my king size bedding. I love the fact that i have one machine to do both washing and drying. It opened so much space and being ventless gave me more options on where to place it. I purchased this washer/dryer a week ago. I wanted a washer and dryer combo so that I could have it on my upper level in the hallway near the bedrooms instead of going all the way to the basement to do my laundry. It was easy to install and it runs fairly quietly. Since it washes and dries the clothes is does take longer than average to dry them however I knew that apon purchasing it. I dont really load it more than half and it dries in about 4 hours or so depending. One thing I am disappointed with this appliance is that there is no option to turn off the chime sound like most other LG washers and dryers. I cant imagine it would have been hard for them to have a feature like that especially for a product that would be ideal for small spaces and apartments. There is the odd time when it doesnt full dry after the time it sets to be finished so I just add on another 30 minutes to an hour drying time and its fine. I am able to put my laundry in in the morning before I go to work and my clothes are done by the time I get home. I love that I do not have to move my laundry to another dryer which also takes up alot of room. The app unfortunately is useless and you cant do anything at all on it they really need to do updates to that software.

No lint trap for dryer

I cannot believe none of the 1 star ratings mentioned this. There is no lint trap for use with the dryer cycle. So where does the lint go? All over the door and the seal. I have to wash all the lint off every time I do a load. When I open the door to get out the load I put in 6 hours earlier yes long long wash/dry times there is a lions mane of lint covering the door and all over the door seal. This may contribute to how long it takes to dry because air flow must be affected. If thats not enough when it is drying the door seals and wont open till the dryer cools down. Cool down is not a part of the cycle it just sits there while the air surrounding cools it down. So your clothes come out nicely tightly wrinkled. So sweet of LG to restore a close relationship for me with my iron and ironing board

I love my LG combo washer dryer unit. The only down side is that it is an LG. Life is Not Good is you need to call LGs customer service. Hands down the machine is the best Ive ever own and likewise their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

Bought this for my massage practice as we run sheets constantly. It has been great to not have to switch the wet sheets into a dryer. We can only fit like 4 sets in it in order for them to dry in the amounted time without having to restart the dryer but we know that now and it has been a great addition. The ventless blows my mind. In the room I had to put it in I could not cut out a vent hole. So this was great I also get reminders on my phone when its done NICE I just hope there is no tech issues with it. So far so good. Now the man who drove the truck to deliver was not friendly and not helpful.

Energy efficient Time saving a few drawbacks

I love that this works on a 110 plug and doesnt blow hot air out of the house for an hour I closed up an insulated the vent and that helps with home energy efficiency even more. The ability to set it for a wash and dry all at once overnight makes it both convenient and yet again better for the power grid. As far as the drawbacks go-- its a bit inconvenient to have to clean the lint out of the rubber gasket around the door and to have to empty water and unscrew the trap in the bottom. I also dont like that for each wash cycle they limit your ability to customize. I wish they were just one manual setting you could choose and then make all of your own adjustments. I highly recommend using the QR code on your manual to get the full manual online and also checking out YouTube for one of the videos where somebody walks through everything and explains it. That will really help you with the machine and reduce frustration. When its done drying and you open it you will feel a little bit of steam and the clothes might even feel slightly damp until you shake them out for a couple seconds. They really are dry so dont get worried.

After buying this machine I found that the wash/dry cycle takes between 6 and 7 hours and the clothes are still wet Way to long and if Id known that I wouldnt have purchased it. The filter is hard to get to and when it is opened for cleaning water leaks onto the floor. Not a good machine at all. The worst part? LG does not stand behind their products. No refund

this washer is only good for 1 person living alone in a studio - or maybe a couple without kids. if you love having your clothes shrink and love having to drain it manually all the time and love it when 1 load of laundry takes 4-7 hours. this is by far the worst machine i have ever owned and i would not recommend it to anyone - especially if you have any kids. it seems like a great idea but it isnt. trust me. i tried to get rid of it back to Home Depot after i had a chance to use it and try it out and they said heck no we dont take returns after x amount of days way less than a month call LG - well couldnt call LG their call center was always closed during this time. i wish i could throw it away but it costs too much. did i mention it is now almost a year old and it already broke? water pump broke.

I bought this full size washer/dryer combination last month and it works very well for me. I load the dirty clothes and return 3-4 hours later to fold and put away. I learned not to use the steam cycles as this leaves clothes damp by using the non-steam cycles and Normal for drying everything comes out clean and completely dry Now I have lots of room in my laundry room.

In 3 weeks Ive been amazed a dozen times by this amazing machine. It was time to replace our old washer dryer and we shopped around and finally settled on this LG washer /dryer combo . It was a bit more expensive than the others and I was apprehensive at first but it had all the bells and whistles we were looking for and a couple we didnt know existed. The second we unwrapped it and saw the dark finish we were in love and we installed it ourselves in a few minutes. It looks intimidating at first but the instructions were simple to follow and we were using it in a couple of minutes . The instruction booklet makes it a breeze with easy to follow diagrams . Once it was washing we all stopped to watch it because its almost silent and barely vibrates -even in the spin cycle. The kids learned to use it immediately and have the app on their phones - so they receive notifications when the wash is done . Like I said it cost more than I intended to spend but after using it for 3 weeks Im wondering how they can sell this hard working and efficient machine - so inexpensively. Id recommend it to anyone who can appreciate a well made efficient machine . And even if youre looking to spend less with this type of quality - you get much more .

We bought this to go into a small space and did not have venting so this seemed a perfect fit and I loved the idea of not having to move wet clothes from the washer to the dryer. It is very convenient but does take some getting used to. Smaller loads are key and you need to plan on roughly 3 hours per load. But it is very easy to throw in a load every other day or so. The app lets you track when your load will be done and sends a notification when it is. The clothes are steam dried and sometimes they feel a tiny bit damp but it is the steam. Once you take them out they are fully dry. Since there is no venting and no lint trap you must wipe out the rubber seal after each use. My one complaint is the drying feature. It is limited if you just want to dry alone and not run a wash cycle.

Purchased 4/11. Finally delivered 5/7/22. So far I am thrilled. Less soap to start with. Yes it takes a bit of time to learn the ins and outs and Im still learning. No more lugging wet clothes from one side of the laundry room to the other. They go in dry and come out the same but cleaner. I looked at this machine 15 years ago but had no idea who LG was then. Now I do. So when my older 15 year washer decided to cross the laundry room and landed on the hot water tank while spinning out I knew it was time to upgrade. It is so quiet I wonder if its actually running at times. Clothes Ive washed are clean dry and I think less wrinkled. Im happy. Yes it takes a bit longer but not really if you factor in the amount of time it takes me between loads to return to the basement.

I bought this unit to solve the problem that my lg washer and lg dryer would not fit in the closet designated as it had been constructed for smaller units. I thought the lg combo unit was the perfect solution without doing much research. All of my complaints were clearly explained in the owners manual as possibilities. As a single person I am able to do small loads more often and this has seemed to work better for me. I would not recommend this for a family as cycle times that include drying can be quite long. I miss my set I had before the lg washer and lg dryer. I was planning on using them the rest of my life. I bought the combo without doing my homework but we have come to a working friendship.

I am unhappy with it. There was no manual with it. The young man that came out when I had called because it was not drying right said that there was lent. Lent does not cause it to not dry. If I had had a manual I would had known how to work it. Takes too long dry I guess because it is electric which I know is what the gov. wants every one to go too but I will not I do not like it. I will keep my gas stove and every else that is gas.

We have had our LG combo all in one for over two years now. Bought it at Costco which was a really good idea. The first one leaked all over constantly. We got a brand new one and have not had any problems cents. Yes this takes longer to wash and dry but theres no more moldy laundry from not flipping it. This saves me time and space. Sometimes the cycles are longer and sometimes shorter depending on how many clothes you have in there and what settings you are using. Just be sure to empty out the lint trap in the lower left corner regularly. One of the best features is not having to use an outside vent. I highly recommend this. If this breaks down ever I will buy another one.

After hours on the phone with them and Home Depot LG basically admitted that their product does not work stating you should have read the reviews. It has been almost a year Ive owned this. There are many pros to owning this machine. It is very quiet on both the wash and dry cycles and does a good job. They key to drying is to not load the drum over half full. It is a very big drum however and you can wash/dry quite a bit of clothes. When doing the biggest load wash/dry takes about 3:30 min. and smaller loads often take about 2:30 min using the normal cycle. The beauty of this machine is not having to swap out clothes between washing and drying. And just for that the time is absolutely worth it. I will usually start a load and head out and run errands etc. and can keep an eye on the time and get a notification when done from the LG app which is pretty cool. You do want to wipe out the door seal about every other use which can collect some lint and could potentially clog up if not done. This is perfect for an apartment since you dont need a vent and can run it on regular 110v outlet. I have mine adapted to my kitchen sink to drain as well as using my faucet for a water source that goes into a Y adaptor on the machine. I then just manually adjust the water temp using the sink. Works fine and the machine doesnt complain. The only other maintenance is to clean the filter about every month or so with regular daily use and do a tub clean periodically. Since the dryer is built in there is none of the mold issues since the tub gets dried out. There is also a door catch just slightly opened so you can still let it air out after use. Ive only had one issue just recently with the digital display flickering and some of the digits not working properly. This got replaced under warranty from a local LG repair partner who did a great job and fixed very quickly less than a week and came to my place. The only other negative is the unit is fairly expensive however Im hoping it lasts for many more years. It has pretty much paid for itself in 1 year by not having to pay for my laundry in my apartment complex.

I was very excited when we bought our house and this appliance came with it. Its been an adjustment from the traditional separate washer and dryer. Im getting used to it but well see how we feel when we get our 1st electricity bill because this unit has to run all day just to do 2-3 loads.

The owners manual is poorly written scan code doesnt work. The cycles are far too long and overheats the laundry room. Living in a warmer climate its terrible. LG support is terrible too.. worthless. I still have some problems with it though. PRO: fewer wash loads per month space-saving quiet. We have limited space so I was looked at stackables. I was blown away when I saw one machine that does it all Was I skeptical? Absolutely No regrets I have one machine that handles larger loads than a stackable. No vent work needed And it runs off 110. It takes longer to dry clothes but I can set to wash dry and walk away. Easy programming settings too. Extremely happy with my new washer/dryer.

It seems a good idea to have one machine doing wash and dry in one cycle. It arrived Aug 3 2022 and had to have a part replaced right away. After the repair 2 visits it is better but the loads always come out TOO damp forcing me to attempt a dry-only cycle over and over. I acknowledge the dryer is supposed to leave a little humidity in the load but I have to lay the clothes out for 2 days before I can put them away. On the pro-side the very large drum allows me to wash comforters and it appears to have saved me money on my electric bill. I would not buy one again.

I also love that all you have to do is load clothes add your detergents press what features you want then click start. If you download the app you get a notification telling you when its all done. I also love that it has a fresh care button that tumbles clothes so they dont mildew if your not going to be home in time to open the door.

I bought this 3 months back and Im confidently writing this review after 20+ loads. I dont understand why people are complaining about this product. Its a ventless all-in-one electric washer and dryer and it stands up really well. Features: I dont use the wifi function much but it helpful notifies when the load is done and ability to extend if you want remotely etc Washing/Drying: It took literally no effort to set up and very efficiently takes 2 hours to washdry a king comforter and a bunch of sheets. Regular cloths large load takes 2.30 hour which is 30 mins more drying but its crisp. To summarize its worth every penny and I would buy this same again
