I love my LG 26 cu. ft. bottom freezer refrigerator. I cant believe how much it holds. The main reason for purchasing was that my old refrigerator was getting too small. I had to cram stuff in and never had any extra space. Dont have to do that now. Room for 1/2 gallons and other large items in the door. I especially love the extra drawer. I feel lame for getting excited about a refrigerator but this thing is really nice. I wasnt sure how Id feel about a single door but coming from a side by side this has a ton more room the lighting is fantastic and it has plenty of set up options. At our previous location we had bought an LG French Door refrigerator and were very happy with it and its functionality. We moved. It stayed. In the new place swayed by sales folks and legends we bought a Kitchen Aid 27 sq ft box with all the bells and whistles. What a mistake. In three years Whirlpool finally gave up and declared it irreparable. They offered a buy out and we jumped. With the state of the world today we had to wait 3 months. The LG was delivered and actually holds more stuff and performs beautifully. Were glad we returned to LG. We made a mistake by leaving. Originally posted on lg.com

This fridge is roomer than our 20 yo Frigidare. I like having the freezer compartment on the bottom. Its just easier to find and retrieve stuff. Ice tray is generous size. Large Deli drawer is nice. Door compartments are larger than our old refrigerator. We missed the small bottom compartment that runs the length of the door for a couple of weeks because it is virtually hidden by the wider door compartments above it. We bought this refrigerator through Home Depot. When Home Depot finally delivered the fridge a month and a half later we finally got to use it. So far we really enjoy this fridge the past 2 months. The fridge seems very well designed to utilize every inch of space easily and efficiently. We actually swapped this one in for a larger French door style that came with our house but we dont feel as if weve lost storage space. The shelves are deep enough for two one gallon jugs to fit easily back to back with extra room to spare. The drawers also open easily without having to worry about banging them into the shelves or door. We had issues with our freezer not sealing when it first arrived but LG sent someone out to fix it for us rather quickly after we called them. Turns out ice got on the tracks after it first started up so it was an easy fix and not a defect.The only reason Im rating this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the ice machine is extremely loud when its beginning a new cycle. Otherwise this is a fantastic fridge. I also havent needed to replace the water filter yet but when the time comes the process doesnt seem difficult either. Originally posted on lg.com

I have not had it a month yet but so far so good. The only complaint which is not a big deal is the warning chime that makes noise after leaving either the refrigerator or freezer door open too long can be annoying. purchased to replace 20yr. old side by side fridge still working but worried if stopped would not get one. Needed a 33 wide to fit black s.s. to match stove micro faucet. nice looking freezer is spacious drawer slides nicely fridge is large led light is bright veggie drawers are plastic surprisingly work very well door alarm is nice wife has habit of not closing door when doing things door has a lot of storage stays where you open it to without hitting wall by itself closes completely with just a slight push very quiet can hardly hear running.Split shelves would be nice but not a deal breaker.I do not need a deli drawer could eliminate make veggie drawers deeper but some may need a deli drawer ? only had a few weeks so far happy hope it stays that way. Problem started a couple months before the warranty ran out July 2021. This unit has the craft ice round balls. Balls would not eject at times. The fill cycle would pour water over the balls and it would run down into the collection tray freezing all the balls in it together. It is now January 2022. LG has replaced the ice maker 4 times the last one didnt work to start. It has been 11 days since I reported it to the LG Presidential Liaison Office. I believe the last one they installed was not new. It did not arrive in an LG box and was beat up with a lot of tape one it. If they redesign this ice maker so it works it would be a decent refrigerator. As is I cannot recommend buying this product. Pictures of ice attached. Originally posted on lg.com

I love our new refrigerator. Has alot of bells and whistles on it. Love the bright lights. The refrigerator was delivered and the delivery men were supposed to install the water line. They drilled the hole and couldnt find where the hole came out in the basement ceiling. They didnt feel comfortable enough to drill another hole besides the fact that another hole never should have to be drilled. They had to send someone else a week later to install it. We bought this fridge and the fridge rand freezer has been nice but the ice make quit 6 weeks ago. I did everything new filter check water rest the ice make several times etc to try to get it to go without success Then put in a warentee request it fix It. I have had this refrigerator 7-8 months. It is spacious and we love the long drawer on the bottom. We recently had it catch fire though for some unknown reason. I purchased a refrigerator last month and was extremely excited when it delivered 2 weeks later. Over joyed when it arrived just for the unit not to work. My joy turned into frustration that I bought a brand new fridge that wasnt cooling. My frustration turned into anger after I called LG just for them to tell me they will send someone out to repair it.. really LG You are going to send someone to repair a brand new refrigerator. Then I went back to the store I purchased it from and told them I want a new one they were able to assist but I had to wait 4 weeks for the replacement. I was looking for a bottom freezer refrigerator with a good capacity and this fits the bill. Nice looking good lighting and the glide and servedeli drawer is a nice touch because of its full width. Quiet operation. The glass shelving is kind of thin which means heavy items need to be placed on sides of shelves. The other problem is if its time to make ice and the freezer drawer is open it just drops down no way to stop unless you turn off ice maker. Originally posted on lg.com

We have had 4 repair visits and feel that the initial quality was very poor. The refrigerator appears to be repaired but we had to purchase a small refrigerator and took multiple trips to the store to purchase ice to help keep food fresh. Purchased to replace a french door model side by side. The LG has so much more room and door storage Im sure I can fill it up but it will be tough. The Bottom Freezer is excelent so much room and the upper shelf is a real bonus. My wife is quite short so its so much easier for her and nothing falls out like the old unit. The ice maker makes a lot of ice and is surprisingly quiet as is the compressor. All in all this is a great working machine. My thermometers tell me that the temperature I set on the control panel is what the temp is in the unit. We have the black stainless finish and it looks great in our black and stainless kitchen. Have had this unit for 3 months. first time having a pullout freezer drawer. nice not having to get on knees to find items in bottom access freezer. also like the freezer bins are not wire but plastic to catch any food that might spill out of packages. the deli drawer is really nice. older refrigerators had a small square drawer but this deli drawer allows items to spread out for easy viewing and accessing. like that the main compartment has full shelves not split. because it gives more space for items. one odd thing we found recently is a wine bottle sized bottle cannot stand upright in the main compartment. But I think if I move the in-door shelves down it should fit in the door or move shelves in main compartment but then space between the remaining shelves would be smaller but not a big problem. main reasons we purchased have LG washing machine/dryer and they are very good. this unit fits perfectly in the slot in the kitchen. this unit seems to have alot of space in main compartment and freezer. They really made good use of all available space. btw we do not use the ice cube maker but the bin makes a good place to store opened frozen vegetable packages. Originally posted on lg.com

I purchased this a month ago based on consumer reports findings. It was the only manufacturer who was given a 5/5 reliability rating. It is very quiet. The sliding freezer drawer works effortlessly and gives the feeling that was extremely well built. The finish really is finger proof. Temperatures in freezer and refrigerator need no adjustment.
