This microwave is a superior upgrade over our previous microwave. My wife bakes a lot and she says the melt butter feature is great Weve not used the convection oven yet but its nice to know its there for larger parties and holidays. Stainless steel is nice however I miss the white of our previous microwave. Overall very happy with this purchase Originally posted on lg.com

We purchased this on a whim at our local Lowes where someone had special ordered it but never picked it up. Initially I bought it to put in our 1998 Newmar motorhome. However my wife wanted it in the house since it was a convention oven too The functions available on the microwave are incredible Who ever thought that you would want to soften ice cream?? I purchased the microwave in Sept 2020 as a replacement for a 3-year old LG microwave that shut down and was not repairable. It took 7 weeks to receive this microwave which shutdown after 4 Months and took 6 weeks for LG to repair. Communications with customer service were terrible. Originally posted on lg.com

I like the device it is roomy has lots of options etc but I have a few issues. Firstly the button to do a quick 30 seconds isnt labeled as such instead it is EZ-ON why could it have not just been labeled +30 like others? Also it is only 950w which I knew going into this but why not 1500W? Microwaves have been 1500 watts for MANY years and now you have to buy a very expensive signature model to get that power? Why? Weve been using this microwave since fall 20. It is very nice looking but finger prints do show. We didnt care for the sound when entering cooking time etc so we turned the sound off. That however means that the timer cant be used. The directions for preheating the convection oven and setting the cooking time were not correct in the owners manual. We had to figure it out ourselves. It also has a lower power than our last microwave manufactured before 2011. There are also no guidelines provided for cooking times when using the combination convection/microwave. These things are significant to us and why it lost two stars. We bought this particular microwave because it was hard to fine a complete set of kitchen appliances that were stainless and we wanted the convection option. Originally posted on lg.com

Weve been using the product for a couple of months now. Generally we are happy with the product for the price paid. A couple of features would be nice to have or could be better. Wish there was a way to mute the tone that plays at the end of a cycle. Also the reheat presets are not very useful. They typically seem to over reheat food if you let them go to the end. Weve had better luck setting a specific time and then adjusting the power level. The layout of the panel can be confusing - make sure you refer to the manual at first because its not intuitive for some functions. We like that the fan has 5 levels but like most under cabinet microwaves its not powerful enough for all the cooking we do. Again you get what you pay for. So far no problems with the unit and if it lasts 5 years Ill consider it a good value. Originally posted on lg.com

This microwave has really updated the look of my kitchen. I thought the convection oven would speed up my cooking. Yes it does crisp up my food however it takes just as long if not longer to achieve desired results. Overall good purchase. Originally posted on lg.com
