I like the microwave itself except for the vent does NOT pull much if any smoke or steam from stove top. Plenty of air comes out at the top vent but none is pulling from the bottom of the microwave. Originally posted on lg.com

I bought this unit because the door opens with a softer pull than comparable models. But you have to press the buttons very hard to get them to register. Very annoying. Also I really miss the one touch operation of my previous microwave. This microwave oven works very well and seems well constructed. But it is not as pleasant to use. Originally posted on lg.com

This microwave is a perfect fit over my stove. The push button panel is stiff. You really have to be right on the number to activate it. The handle is a great feature. The light under the m/wave is very dull. The exhaust fan is good but also noisy. Overall the microwave cooks heats up well. Originally posted on lg.com

Reviewed several options online went to store to view in person. Surprised by the cheap feel of so many microwaves then spotted this LG model across the showroom. Stood out immediately as solid with very clean lines. After installation truly appreciate the firm buttons which preclude accidental choices by brushing one not wanted. Also large on off stand out well and power saver is an excellent feature can be turned off fully when not in use. Doesnt fingerprint and is fast and easy to wipe. We purchased a 4 pc appliance package of LG products. The refrigerator is not just attractive but has great features. We love the French Doors and double lower drawers and the compact ice maker is located in the door and makes an abundance of ice. The new range has touch controls for the smooth top and oven which makes a fresh appearance. The matching microwave has a removable center rack for extra convenience when needing to heat multiple dishes. I didnt need a microwave but decided to purchase this model since I was replacing the range and it would match the LG Gas Range I was also purchasing. Installation was easy enough. I appreciate the strength in the door hinges handle and latching mechanisms. Ergonomically it would be nice if the control panel had its own backlight or was lit somehow so that the microwave could be operated without having to turn on the kitchen lights. As for the features Ive tried warming up items using the sensor-cook as well as various levels of the auto reheat functions and most of the time I have to interrupt the cooking cycle to avoid ruining the food from overcooking. So I just use the regular cooking function and adjust time as needed. That was fine until it stopped working just as I received an email to review the product. I bought this as a mothers day gift for myself in April 2019 and have had issues with it heating up since the day I bought it. It would only heat if I had it on sense not if I hit cook time. This only worked every once in a while until it stopped heating . I believe the purpose of a microwave is to heat things up. Well after some really bad customer service Im still without the use of my brand new microwave. You would think where it is under warranty the process would be handled swiftly. We bought this LG refrigerator 6 months ago to replace a Samsung that we had for the last 4 years. We swore we would never buy another Samsung after the troubles we had from the beginning with the ice machines. We were nervous about getting an LG because of the similarities in the products but we read the reviews and went for it. So happy we did I was worried about the space going from a 32 cu ft to a 30 but I feel like it almost seems bigger because of the built in xtra door space. Bought this cause it looked just like my last model and figured it would work the same but its a bit louder than my previous LG microwave. The fan is louder and the beeping is a lot louder. Can be annoying at times but heats very well. Originally posted on lg.com

There are two small issues that I have about my newly installed microwave. The light under the microwave is too dim. Maybe they should have put a low and high version. Also there is a loud nose that sometimes comes from the microwave while in use. Originally posted on lg.com

We have had this microwave for about 3 months now. The issues I have with this unit is that the sound of the beep the microwave makes every time one pushes a button is annoying and there is no way to turn it off . the buttons are hard to push many times unresponsive and cannot be seen unless we have overhead kitchen lights on . the display is set back into the cabinet so to see the clock or the timer you must be in front of the machine not trying to view it from an angle and a few feet away because you can only see the first number. Not a fan of this microwave. Would not recommend it to anyone. I dont write reviews . but this time I am because I feel I have wasted my money. Originally posted on lg.com

We bought this microwave 2 weeks ago it was easy to install. Love the two level heat rack as well as the turntable control. We have owned and used our microwave now for about two weeks. It works perfectly although I had to refer to the instructions to adjust the power level and set the clock. The microwave works well not the fan it functions as advertised. The buttons are hard to push the beep is loud and can not be adjusted the unit runs loud the vent pull is weak and the door is difficult to open. If none of this matters to you as a consumer and you just need a unit to fill the space and work this will work. If you have specifics to consider I would skip it. Originally posted on lg.com

I like the dark grey interior and easy to use functions. We had an LG previously and replaced it with an almost exact copy but I am displeased that the mounting bracket holes on the top were moved forward 2 inches It would have been a seamless install but the holes didnt line up. I have no idea why the top mounting holes were moved It would be nice to keep the same setup for future models to make it easy to replace. I am mostly very happy with my microwave. It works very well and looks great. A few faults that I find are the time is not fully visible if youre to the side of the appliance the fan is extremely loud although works very well the light is not very bright and you have to really push the buttons hard.
