Purchased a new house in October 2021 and added the new dishwasher. Left in November for 6 months in Arizona. Came back first of May and started having problems. LG has had 2 repair people come out and try to fix it. The problems got worse as door will not close does not run the complete cycle etc. I am now back in Arizona for 6 months. I bought all new LG appliances for my previous house in 2017 and loved them all. Boy was I wrong to think that would continue. The refrigerator isnt layed out as well though it does store more ice. I like my induction range. The only complaint is the bottom drawer which doesnt really have a functional hand-hold to open it. I have to use hands on both sides of the drawer to get it open. The worst is the dishwasher. The very top shelf is ok. The next shelf is really bad. Most of my glasses dont want to stand up especially those with bases like wine glasses. The tines slant making it unstable to lean glasses against. They can be laid down or not but theyre loose enough that when the tines collapsed I broke a glass. The bottom shelf needs another rack. Its mostly a big empty space. I tried to talk to LG about it thinking maybe they had alternative racks for the 2 bad levels but they said Thats just how its made and Ended the conversation. Overall is a good dishwasher thus far. Some issues noticed from first few months of use: 1. Doesnt dry very well with various options used. Automatic cycle being the worst. 2. Have had this dishwasher for a few weeks. It is very quiet almost cant hear that it is running at times but the items in the top rack usually plastic storage containers and drinkware are never completely dry leaving spots even with the spot-free drying additive. Originally posted on lg.com

My husband and I just love this dishwasher. The adjustable top an middle rack make things so easy. My silverware has never been so clean and my husband says the glassware is now cleaner also. We have been using our new LG dishwasher for more than a month. The unit is extremely quiet and can be run whenever you want without fear of the noise disrupting things. We were not satisfied with the dryness of the dishes or the interior of the machine at first. We added the drying agent which helped a little. The best solution is to just use the extra dry cycle. The unit holds quite a lot of dishes and can be re-adjusted inside for most any situation. We are very happy with this dishwasher just as we have been with our LG refrigerator and LG washer and dryer. It is a good dependable brand. Originally posted on lg.com

Dealer refused to install due to short power supply cable. Took the needed hose and installed it. Dishwasher start for 40 seconds and then give E1 error code. Checked all hoses no wrinkles dishwasher levelled correctly no leakage. Called service LG needs 10 days to arrange for a technition visit. Went ahead and got our own technitionhe advised that nothing is wrong with the installation. Now still waiting on the techinition to call back tonarrange for a visit. Dishwasher bought on July 9. In February I bought a top of the line dishwasher from Lowes. Well from the time it was put in it smelled like a rotten garbage can... It would not clean the dishes and would not dru them at all. I contacted LG and they said they would send someone out to look at it. No one ever contacted me and it has been a month. DO NOT BUY I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER LG PRODUCT IN MY HOUSE EVER AGAIN. I havent had a dishwasher that works this well in quite a long long time. I was very worried about not rinsing off the dishes before loading the dishwasher. I went ahead and loaded the first load without rinsing them at all and to my surprise they ALL came out super clean and dry. Weve had nothing but issues with this dishwasher. After several tries to fix itthe door keeps popping open when the cycles are rubbing wont shut properly including replacing the latch it still wont work right. Somehow it keeps generating a water leak warning every time we have run it. We have had LG come out to fix it once and it still generated a water leak warning before it completed the cycle. LG is coming out again on Tuesday. When it generates this warning you are unable to turn off the washer it just keeps trying to pump the water out from time to time. The only way to turn it off is to disconnect the power. Resetting with the breaker does nothing power must remain disconnected. Originally posted on lg.com

We replaced an older dishwasher with this new LG. We like all of its features are impressive it is so quiet. The user accessible filter is a plus. We have had this installed for a few weeks now and have run it a handful of times. Super quiet You cannot even tell that the dishwasher is on and running. Per recommendation of other reviews we have added a rinse agent to help with drying and the dishes glassware and plasticware all come out completely dry. The dishwasher works well is quiet and looks nice. My only complaint is the normal cycle is so long. This one replaced a 40 yr old dishwasher that came with the house my husband and I purchased in 2019 and that normal cycle was 82 minutes. This new one is 2.29. Why so long?
