The light really is needed in order to tell it is running as the sound is barely above the background level of noise in a kitchen. Cleans great and the drying really does work on even plastic items. Taking a little getting used to the way all the racks load and learning what fits where the best with our dishes. The silverware baskets seem a little short but so far it has worked fine.

there seems to be a manufacutring issue. after 2 uses there is error e15. support has no idea. service has no idea. some part was ordered for a seal that they believe was put on too tight. they have seen multiple issues like this with that resolution. $1800 piece of junk. who knows i it will ever get fixed. bosch won't help. now have to hand wash dishes daily. what a waste.

I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I am with this dishwasher. Every single part feels cheaply made. Dishes do not get clean and the top rack for utensils is virtually useless. I am returning and replacing this Bosch Dishwasher as fast as possible.

Taking a little getting used to the way things go in the racks is the only issue we are having. A lot of different ways they adjust. Good that it has the light to let you know it is on otherwise hard to tell as near silent. Cleans great and still learning how to use all the options.

purchased FEB 2021 BEST BUY paid for extended warranty broke 8 months after purchase called best buy waited two weeks to get repaired same problem next time we used it. called best buy was told 5 weeks to get someone to come out, called bosch was told warranty was null and void because we used repair man that wasn't authorized by bosch was never told this when purchased got absolutely no help from bosch $1000.00dishwasher should last longer than 8 months without having to be repaired

I ordered this dishwasher as a replacement for one I had over 20 years. Waited over 5 months for it probably due to Covid19, but it was worth the wait. Installation was easy, and the dishwasher works fantastic.

The operation of this dishwasher is too complicated. Makes me long for my old simple one. I keep having to refer to the instructions that I had to download from the internet. It is fine at cleaning the dishes and quite quiet, but I would substitute noise for simplicity. Was also so expensive that I thought it would be v significantly better than my 15 year old kitchenaid.

Glad I waited!

My 10 year old white Bosch dishwasher was slowly dyeing and I wanted to replace it with anouther Bosch. Did my research and settled on an 800 series Bosch dishwasher. However, because of the pandemic, in January the dealers were telling me that one would not be in stock till July. July came and went until September Lowes text me saying the had them in stock now. Had it delivered to house and I installed it myself. The results were remarkable. I was shocked how clean and glossy the dishes were coming out. Pastics were for the most part dry, with or without use of CrystalDry. Also noted how frugal its use of the jetDry rinse. Refill rinse compartment mabey every 20-25 washes. So yea I'm glad I waited.

I love how quiet it is. That part is great. The foreseeable downside perhaps is that it does not clean as well as our old $400 Frigidaire model. Same dishes going in and out every day, results just aren't as good and every other load we're wiping and rubbing and running things through twice that our old dishwasher seemed to have no trouble cleaning.

I think this dishwasher does a great job cleaning the dishes, but it's design isn't great for holding a lot of dishes, particularly bowls. My biggest disappointment is the silverware drawer. I think Bosch would do better if they took a look at their competitor's silverware drawer which has a much better design.

DON'T BUY - PROBLEM W/MODEL

I owned a Bosch dishwasher for 17 years and it never gave me a bad wash. I renovated my kitchen last year and almost kept it but instead gave it to a friend. I bought a new Bosch and it was a huge mistake. Many friends told me it wasn't built like the old ones and this one has been a nightmare. It broke 5 months after install and 4 months later and 4 repair visits later, it still hasn't been fixed or replaced. I've called Bosch almost weekly asking for an exchange since I clearly received a lemon but their customer service reps are not well trained, don't read my file and keep telling me everything is backed up and they don't know when they'll return my call or process my paperwork. So after 4 months of dish-pan hands, I went to my appliance store and bought another brand. It's unfortunate but be warned, Bosch isn't what it used to be. The products aren't as well made, repairs are difficult to schedule, calling is useless. The Bosch repairman also said he is seeing a lot of problems with these models.

Having had a lower end Bosch before I knew how quiet they could be but this higher end unit is almost silent!!! It cleans so well and it is amazing how dry everything is at the end of the crystal dry cycle!!! That was the one complaint I had with the previous Bosch we had, the plastic dishes were still very wet, but they have clearly fixed that issue with this one! The third rack is nice and has allowed us a lot more flexibility in placement of various different dishes.

Almost too Quiet

This is an awesome dishwasher. The dishwasher is so quiet that even with the red light it is hard to believe it is on. The cycle times are a little long but the dishes are clean and dry. Plastics are the only thing that sometimes retains water. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher.

Isn't Draining - second time within a year!

We purchased this dishwaser back in October of 2020. This May it was't draining. We had it repaired under warranty with Premier Service Group. Now again, only 4 months later it's not draining again! We've had Bosch diswashers before - less expensive ones and they've been terrific. This one not so much.

It's the Best!

We upgraded our old dishwasher in our home before we sold out to a Miele , but at that point I decided not go splurge on the Bosch because we'd have to leave it behind. I told my husband that if I was ever going to redo another kitchen Bosch was a must. Time passed and we are now redoing our kitchen in a condo, and from the beginning, I told my husband and the contractor that there was only one thing I was "married to" and that was this Bosch dishwasher. Even though the renovation has not yet begun, I had them install my new beautiful dishwasher. I LOVE it and so does my husband whose job it is to fill it each night, since I cook the dinner. There is never food left on a plate, nor spots in any glasses. It is so quiet that I needed to look to see if the red light is on the floor. I firmly believe, after using many brands, that Bosch is simply the best!

Bosch 800 series. The dishwasher is very quiet. The controls are difficult to use without being able to see them on top of the door. The racks are adjustable, but maybe not made by someone who uses a dishwasher. It seems small, a cookie sheet will not fit in this dishwasher. It has lots of plate racks, that are too close together. I was expecting more.

I absolutely love this dishwasher. The three racks were a game changer. I can't believe how quiet it is as well! The buttons and screen at the top inside give it a lovely sleek look, and the red light on the floor when the dishwasher is running is super helpful. Last, but certainly not least, I have never seen glasses come out so clear and sparlkling, and it's amazing how well the dishwasher dries things (especially plastics!).

Excellent dishwasher, don't buy during COVID

Now installed and in use, this model is a great dishwasher. It is quiet, holds a lot of items, cleans very well, and has excellent drying ability. It would be our third Bosch in two houses. Now is a terrible time to be a buyer. We bought in December 2020 and had to wait until late July for delivery and installation. Communication was difficult and frought with changes, and the supplier had never experienced this level of mishap. Suggest waiting a few more more months if you want this unit. If you need a dishwasher immediately, look for in-store inventory.

New Bosch Dishwasher Exceeds Expections

I recently purchased a new Bosch dishwasher to replace my old one. I was really interested in the crystal dry feature as the old one never really got the plastic food containers dry. I am happy to say the it works great. You just have to be careful how you load them in the dishwasher making sure you tilt the items so no water can puddle. It is also extremely quite.

This was delivered without damage and installed very easily, after getting an appropriate hookup hose and elbow (see the installation manual for details). This works differently from our previous dishwasher, particularly the drying cycle, which relies on a hot water rinse and rinse aid, plus a durable mineral which produces more heat when moist. When used with three drawers, the space is a bit tight but sufficient. This model relies on a drain filter which needs to be cleaned monthly to quarterly. Overall, recommended.

We did a lot of research before buying this, and since we needed it during COVID there was no opportunity to see it except in online photos. It turned out that the dishwasher is even better than we expected. It is amazingly quiet (without the red light we would not know if it was running or done most of the time). It has three shelves (the middle one adjustable) and gives you so many options for loading. The auto cycle does a fantastic job of determining how dirty your dishes are and running the appropriate wash for the appropriate amount of time so that all of the dishes come out sparkling clean. I am so glad we decided to order this dishwasher!

This unit is every thing promised and even more. Not only is it quiet, it is almost silent. If it wasn't for the light that shines on the floor, you can stand right in front of the unit and not be able to tell it is running. Clean? The dishes come out spotless and virtually every piece is dry. The adjustable racks and top rack are very convenient and make loading various sizes and shapes possible. We've owned this for one full year and have had no issues at all. Worth every penny of the price.

Great dishwasher . Possibly the best cleaning characteristics and the crystal dry technology is excellent to get dishes, cutlery, bowls ( that don't have a lip bottom) coming out dry. Only negative think is the controls are not well explained in the manual and not intuitive, especially the options. One minor comment the start press screen is super sensitive to the door being firmly closed else will not start... I would buy again though !

The Quiet Cleaner

Major feature for us ws the 40 dBA noise rating. You need the light on the floor to know it is operating. In our open floor plan this is a great feature to allow it to do it's job without bothering us.

Quiet, Large and Clean!

You would not know that this dishwasher is even running if it were not for the light. It has a large interior allowing us to fill it with almost everry plate, bowl, coffee mug and tumbler we own. It cleans the dishes and even removes the tea stains from white coffee cups.
