I had these double ovens installed 2 months ago. They look nice, but functionally they're awful. I've always been happy with Bosch products in the past but am losing faith. The temperature, when set at 350, was fluctuating between 319 - 426 on the top and 304-418 on the bottom. I was told by the first technician that the "average" was all that mattered which still seemed logical to him after I explained that a fluctuation between 0-700 would also give an average of 350....still this made sense to him. Soooooo....second repair guy figured out the issue immediately and I'm now waiting for the install of a new control board. The digital timer and temp adjustment is also really wonky and does t allow for an easy tap or hold, up or down. It moves slowly then ridiculously fast and stops allowing for an adjustment before it can be fine tuned. My hope is that I can review this again after the new control board is installed and say that everything is awesome! We'll see. Originally posted on Bosch.com

We were excited to have a Bosch appliance package in our new home but the oven is disappointing. The fan has gotten progressively louder and now after two years sounds like a jet engine. The oven works but I will be replacing the fan. One other minor aggravation is the sensitivity of the control panel. Very difficult to adjust. Originally posted on Bosch.com

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this double oven - my old oven now seems tinny in comparison. The doors are solidly built, the racks are nice and sturdy and the oven knobs are heavy duty. The preheat time is about average, it takes about 13 minutes to reach 350. It would have been nice if it displayed the temperature as it preheated, though. The heat seems to distribute evenly in both ovens and the food comes out perfectly. I would have just taken off just 1/2 star if I could for the timer since it's a little awkward to program, hard to hear and the volume can't be adjusted. But that's a small price to pay for all the positive features. I definitely recommend this oven. Originally posted on Bosch.com

We bought this on Oct. 2014 and recently it not only stopped working, but we have had the repair man out twice and he says it is the computer board. Evidently it shorted out and burned a hole in the metal. We will never buy another Bosch product if it is only going to last 2 1/2 years. Originally posted on Bosch.com

Our new Bosch oven preheats quickly and cooks great! Controls are easy to learn and the oven looks great. We bought the HBL5551UC double oven. It is a great value for a top brand. We have cooked at high and low temperatures with great success. I wish setting the timer and temperature was a little better designed, but for the price this oven is a must buy!
