I bought this dryer and the matching washer about a month ago. I can honestly say that the dryer works great but the washer is broken already. I wonder why I got a review for the dryer and not the washer? I had to call already and get someone out to look at my washer in the next week. I will keep you posted!!

I thought Maytag was the best of the best. My dryer was delivered broken; excessively noisy and sounds like a chain saw. The dealer who sold it to me as "repaired" it several times already, and it always reverts back to the excessive noise. Six months after purchasing, they've given up and I don't know what to do. Oh, and BTW, the washer is broken too! So disappointed.

Our dryer developed a vibration noise about 1 1/2 months after purchase. We called for service and were told that it was normal. We will see over time but it didn't make that noise the first 6 weeks

We recently purchased the Maytag Gas Dryer after having a different brand for 9 years and having numerous issues with it. We went back to the Maytag (after owning one for 18 years) and love it. Great features and settings - efficient - does a great job drying. Don't know why we tried another brand but it WON'T happen again. Solid dryer - love it!!!

Someone call a doctor. My new gas dryer keeps coding. I have had the repairman out 3 times already to run diagnostics and replace parts (sensors, motherboard) The repairman will have to come out again because the codes F#E# keep coming up. The dryer will not dry a full load of clothes. I have to divide in half to get them to dry without coding. Once the codes starts, you have to shut down take out the wet clothes and start again. This dryer is too new and too heavy duty to be in this bad shape. I called Lowes to get a replacement and they have washed their hands already telling me we have had it over 30 days. Heck, it took two weeks to for them to deliver the dryer after we purchased it. We went on a two week vacation. By the time I installed the dryer, it was already a month old and the first load had not been started. Then BOOM, the dryer coded on the first load. At what point do we stop trying to resuscitate this gas dryer get a replacement?

Love thisMaytag. No problems since day one. Dries even biggest rugs and comforters.
4rh home with Maytag washer and dryer. Sold all with appliances still working after 10+, 8+, 5+ years. No major repairs One was electric dryer and heating element replaced others were gas.

I bought this washer and dryer set about a month ago, and OMG! I didn't;t realize how much time and energy was being wasted waiting for cycles to finish and waiting for the dryer to get the clothes (mostly) dry! They are performing so much better than I expected and I love getting my laundry out!

I bought this dryer over a month ago at Lowes. It took two weeks to be delivered to our home the evening before we were leaving for vacation. So it was installed a week and a half later. After 5 minutes into the drying cycle I got an E3 F3 error code and the dryer stopped working. I tried a could of times but it would no go more than 5 minutes. I called service and it took couple of weeks to get someone in to check it. They indicated that they needed to order a part and it took almost a week for that to come in. In the meantime I kept working with the dryer and got it to work sometimes. After the repairman came and did a pretty good once-over, he said that he could find nothing wrong with it. They are keeping the ticket open and I am going to keep using it and see what happens. But I have lost confidence and would never leave the house with it running at this time.

This is the first time I have purchased a Maytag product. I am having some issues with dryer when it is set for high to dry. It will cut off and give an error code. This occurred the first day the dryer was delivered and the dryer is not a month old. Not sure about this product.

I purchased unit so that it could be stacked on top of Maytag washer (purchased at same time). Because the controls are so high, it is somewhat difficult for a person 6 feet tall to see the controls. It is nearly impossible for someone 5 feet tall. I am not sure I would recommend the stacking feature to a shorter person.

Purchased this together with the matching washing machine. Turned it on and it sounded like there was a helicopter in my laundry room. Clothes not drying in a timely manner plus clothes getting snagged-look inside and yes, the finish on the drum is deteriorating. Two service calls later, it's finally replaced. Much quieter but how long will this last? Junk, junk, junk.

My husband and I did a lot of research on what to buy. This maytag set kept popping up as the best. I am loving the set. My old dryer would take at least 50 minutes to dry towels. Now it's only 30 minutes and it runs so quiet.
