I purchased this item to replace my 33-inch refrigerator that kept dying after 5 years due to a manufacturing defect, and thus could NOT be fixed. The interior layout is ok, good visibility, still adjusting to where to put things, my only complaint is the two (2) vegetable drawers are not very deep or tall, resulting in no room for in-drawer storage for celery or other long bulky items (large head of lettuce, bunch of kale, swiss chard, etc.) I have needed to purchase food safe bins to help organize all the produce. (But hey, this GE fridge keeps everything cold, and the back wall does not freeze over causing the fan/motor to stop due to a manufacturing defect like my Sams--g. So in that sense it is amazing!) So far its operating great, pray it last me 20-years. Originally posted on www.ge.com

Still getting used to this refrigerator as it is totally different from my last one. I love the ice machine and the water inside however I wish the water was something that all you needed to do was push the glass on the button rather than the button on the top. We love our new refrigerator; especially the french doors. It's easy to see everthing and reach in with no problems. It actully fits into our small space in the kitchen. Appears to be well made and designed well. Freezer will take a bit of tie to get used because its on the bottom. Refrigerator is designed well with options easy to get used to. This isn't a large refrigerator but the brackets on the shelves limit how things can be placed or stacked. The bottom freezer is very small and when pulled out or pushed in, wobbles quite a bit. I guess this is as good as it gets for less than $2000. Originally posted on www.ge.com

This refrigerator is exactly what we were looking for to replace an old, outdated French door refrigerator. The shelving inside is versatile enough to fit all kinds of items and creates plenty of space, even in the counter depth smaller cubic space model. The only reason I give it a 4 star rating is because the bottom shelf in the refrigerator, and the top shelf of the freezer don't always slide in and out smoothly. We got this model because we had to buy one that would fit into an existing space (couldn't/didn't want to move the wall or remove the small useless cabinet over it). I am very pleasantly surprised with how well it fit into the space. I like all the refrigerator space and the flexibility of the shelving and drawers. I am not thrilled with the smaller freezer space (the old side by side had more capacity), but I'm figuring out how to work with it. We don't need the ice so I'm using that space for storage. We only have adults in the house so it's pretty easy to keep it clean of fingerprints - if you have kids and don't like looking at finger prints, you might want to choose something else. I doubt that we'll ever use the water dispenser that's located inside the refrigerator. It's easy to use, but in an odd location. Originally posted on www.ge.com

This is a beautiful product and would be everything we wanted, but the door handles fall off frequently. If you put any upward motion on the handles when you open the doors, the handles pop right off. Design flaw. Also, the water nozzle needs to be a bit longer and flexible so you can fill water bottles directly from the fridge. Other than that, we love it! Originally posted on www.ge.com

After 5 service calls the unit still vibrates when the compressor turns on ! I can hear it from another room. Now at the point of limiting the frequency of opening the doors just to prevent the vibrations ! GE refuses to replace and it is only 4 months old. So much for customer service.
