I bought this unit about three weeks ago and I'm so disappoint in it. 1st NO cold water from the water dispenser in the door. 2nd the drawers install are hard to pull out. 3rd the setscrews in the handle stick out further than the handles. 4th the protective plastic the put on is underneath the seals and other parts, it took around 10 hours to remove most of the plastic. May last three refrigerator going back 25 plus years had COLD WATER dispensing from the door No where did it say that it didn't dispense cold water until you hook it up and go to the troubleshooting section. It says to add ice are you kidding me. 100 year anniversary what a joke on this product and ALL the customers how try and use a reusable water boyyle. Thanks for a bad ideal.

I occupied my newly-built house June 23, 2020 which contained a Frigidaire suite of this refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven and range. I had 3 months of grief with the fridge due to a faulty drawer in the freezer, second from the bottom. It kept falling into the drawer below. After trying adjustments, called service who had to replace the unit supporting the 2 drawers. He said they have had problems with this appliance. That is one problem I didn't need while trying to settle into a new house.

Unfortunately, the icemaker is only dispensing crushed ice not long after purchasing. After trouble shooting with tech on the phone, it was determined a service call would be needed and scheduled for first available 2 weeks out. (No biggie and very happy with the help thus far btw). The service appointment was scheduled for yesterday 9/2/2020 with a very broad time of 8am-5pm. The reason for my 2 star rating is because after scheduling my week and day around the service call, I received a text stating we were rescheduled to the 15th. Completely unacceptable. And yes, I called and chatted on line to be placed back on the days schedule to only then again receive a text rescheduling for the 14th.

Have had the unit for a monthly now. Within the first week it started to make a loud buzzing vibration twice a day, loud enough that it could be heard from another room. Contacted customer service via a email and never got a response back. I have no clue if this is normal or not. Also ice maker does not have an auto shut off. If too much ice is in the bin, it starts to push out so the freezer will not shut, you have to turn it off manually. Note if you go on vacation, to turn off the ice maker otherwise you could come home to a disaster.Rating 3 starts, customer service Zero Stars.

This is our 3rd refrigerator in 6 years so I am hesitant to review anything this early but I will say so far we love this refrigerator. 1st - the black stainless steel is FANTASTIC! No SMUDGES or pup nose art!!! The ice/water works great - it is a bit loud when the water refills the ice maker but not a big deal at all for us. The refrigerator is quiet and has so much room. Our last refrigerator was a french door and I really think this side by side has so much more room. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase...I will hopefully update in a year with more good news! I have no problems so far recommending this refrigerator to anyone.
